Principle of LDPN Nitrogen PSA systems
Pressure Swing Adsorption Nitrogen systems(PSA) use compressed air as feed gas under a certain temperature and pressure conditions, a variety of gas components in the air diffuse into the tanker full of CMS absorbent in a certain period of time and nitrogen will be separated from other gases base on the different absorption rate.

In a range of certain pressure, the gas adsorption capacity increases with increasing pressure, when air under pressure fed into the tanker filled with adsorptions, the air such as moisture and oxygen was chosen adsorption of priority because of its fast absorption rate, and the relatively slow adsorption rate of nitrogen (including argon gas) exports from the adsorption tower gas is collected as a product. When the pressure decreases, the gas desorbed from the adsorbent at the same time, with the right amount of nitrogen on the adsorbent for cleaning, the adsorbent regenerated.
In order to make a continuous nitrogen process, it should be installed with two tankers full of CMS adsorbent. The air of oxygen and nitrogen separation process will be completed in a matter of minutes, and late in the separation process, the pressure between the adsorption tank reach balance, and then compressed air was switched to another adsorption tank, to repeat the separation process described above. At the same time, in the adsorption tank of oxygen saturation adsorption, gas pressure decreases to an atmospheric pressure to remove the water and oxygen in CMS.
